Daddy and I usually do writing after tea while Mummy cleans up. I have a special writing book. I have been practising letters, short words, names of my family and friends and sometimes even the names of my Ben 10 Aliens. I usually use a pencil but Daddy said I could have a turn with his pen this once!
Here we are...two big boys! Looking for fun...or probably something to eat!
I did this colouring in all by myself. Usually we all do a colouring in together....but this one I did all by myself...my treasure! Mummy and Daddy are so proud of my colouring in now that I have been practising heaps. I hold the felt like i hold a pencil for writing and I keep my hand flat on the page. I try hard to colour in the whole picture, whilst not going over the lines. I really enjoy colouring in.
Today I found the funny cutting craft scissors. I told mum that I was going to cut out 8 legs to make an octopus. Then mummy came up with the great idea to turn a balloon into an octopus' head. Then I coloured in some shoes and we stuck them on. We all really like my new octopus!
This is my ongoing project. Mummy made paper people (dolls) in a row. Then she thought she could probably make a hedge, flowers, trees, grass, houses, fence, clouds and even a washing line in the same way. Today we stuck them onto big paper to make a house scene. Now I am slowly colouring all the different parts in. Watch this space!
The other thing we have been busy making is paper chains. I have been doing the cutting out of strips, colouring in, making patterns with colouring paper and the stapling too. The first two I made I gave to Nana and Grandad. I have only put 5 links on my one so far. All of my projects take "hours".
We have been very busy in the holidays. The weather has been really cold and wet so we have spent most of the time inside doing cool stuff.
